What the hell is happening in your early 40s?

Here’s my latest collection of news grabs that make for grim reading, particularly if you’re on the cusp of turning 40. What the hell is going on with people ages 41-43?

While people of all ages make the news, there’s a fascinating similarity in these stories featuring people aged 41-43. There’s a shock factor as lives take dramatic turns, with awful revelations, people losing the plot and bizarre events unfolding.

In your late 30s and early 40s, we all face the challenge of the ‘mid life transits’, a series of outer planet shifts that apply pressure and confront us. For many people, this passes without too much fanfare. Perhaps a small accident, job promotion, late marriage, health scare or a surprise pregnancy. For others (depending on your natal chart), life can get messy with divorces, financial problems and health crises that bring you unstuck. It can be an overwhelming time, as inklings of your mortality arise. A sense of ‘is this it?’ is possible. Hidden urges and secrets may emerge. 

Each of us is here to learn certain life lessons, and if you’re off track, this seems to be the time when the universe will throw in a few curveballs to force you to engage with your soul’s deeper work. All of these events are pushing you to CHANGE and EVOLVE.

The takeaway? Understanding what’s happening to you energetically is incredibly useful. Understanding the life lessons that you’re being guided to learn can be the difference between riding out these energetic influences with class, or being destroyed by them.
